1. JUDITH MARY MANNIX.

Named after her maternal grandmother, Judith Mannix was born at Burramine on April 10, 1885. As a child, she attended Boosey North Catholic School.At the age of 12 years, she was a member of the wedding party of her first cousin, Bridget Bourke to Paddy Sheridan. The newspaper report of the event, which took place in Tungamah on July 20, 1897, recorded that:
“…Misses J & M Mannix, of Burramine, filling in the
positions of the other bridesmaids, wore blue costumes,
wreath and veil”.
Judith Mannix married James Patrick Rohan in 1923, and there were no children born of the marriage. She died in 1925 at Coburg, aged 40 years.

Her death notice appeared in the Argus newspaper of 31 october, 1925:
" Deaths: ROHAN: (nee Mannix). On the 30th October at a private hospital, Judith Mary, the dearly loved wife of James Rohan, 25 Bell Street West, Coburg, loving daughter of Ellen and the late John Mannix of Burramine, and loving sister of Mary (Mrs wason); Maggie (Mrs Considine); the late John and William Joseph; aged 40 years. O sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on her soul."
