Victoria Hotel, Tungamah, prior to demolition.

Above: This is the Victoria Hotel of my memory...a wonderful rambling old building in which my father's family were raised and where his father, Patrick Sheridan, was born in 1900. The old home finally became unsafe for my aunt, Ann Sheridan Einsporn, to live with her young family, and so the Old Vic was demolished. In its place, though, was built a beautiful home constructed largely with recycled bricks from the old pub and as many original materials as possible.
